Programming - Introducing Branches (NESTED If statements)
OPENING QUESTIONS: Please share your code from yesterday with another person in your team. Have them 'grade' your adherence to our object naming standarda. COURSE DOCUMENT: Ver 1.64 is HERE WORK O' THE DAY: Let's go ahead and change our groups up a wee bit. Please check the seating chart (I've done my first go and making sure each group has at least 1 sensei, but that is subject to change over the next few weeks. ═══════════════════════════ Now please open THIS copy of my code that shows "Nested" branches. REMIX IT and name it something else and save it in your library of files. PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS Thoroughly! I'll do some helpful teaching there. DO no blow by the comments, ever!
Now please open your own last program that used if statements from yesterday. Remix that and rename it to <whateveritwascalled>02 Now please take as long as you need to replace the several if statements with a single if /else Now that we've found the main bugaboo in the opener, please open THIS (very bare bones, very basic) version, and find and fix the naming bogarts Ver 1.64 is HERE. |
